A Gaushala is dedicated to creating a safe place for native-breed cows. Our services include providing nutritious food, medical aid to protect them from disease, and basic necessities for healthy, abandoned, injured, or aged cows. The goal is to prevent the mistreatment or slaughter of cows. We focus on preserving native cow breeds from extinction, promoting biodiversity, and protecting cultural heritage.
Protecting cows the most important mission of our Goshala. Our cows are allowed to breed naturally and free from the threat of slaughter. With utmost love, affection and care shown by our caretakers to the cows at our Goshala, our cows must be the happiest in California.
Every cow born on our farm/Goshala gets to live their entire life cared for every day to whatever extent they need. These animals are seen as a part of our family and are treated accordingly.
We offer the opportunity to support our project and gain personal relationships with these beautiful animals through our Cow Sponsorship program.
